Colin McSherry joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP in 2013 as an associate. Mr. McSherry focuses on the defense of general negligence lawsuits involving automobile accidents, premises liability, property damage and labor law. He handles all aspects of civil litigation from inception through trial.
Mr. McSherry obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Michael's College in Vermont. After graduating Suffolk University Law School, Mr. McSherry was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2012. Prior to joining Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP, and while he was awaiting admission to the bar, Mr. McSherry worked as a law clerk for an insurance defense practice in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Mr. McSherry gained valuable experience while clerking for the late Hon. Justice Lawrence V. Cullen, Supreme Court, Queens County.
Mr. McSherry is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association and the Chaminade High School Lawyers Association.
Outside of work, Colin is an avid sports fan and enjoys fishing.
