Harshal Y. Jani joined Kelly, Rode and Kelly, LLP, as an associate in 2016. His primary practice is focused in civil litigation including general negligence, premises liability, and defending personal injury claims.
Mr. Jani was born in Queens and raised on Long Island. He obtained his Bachelor's degree with honors from Syracuse University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he was actively involved in many student organizations and the legal externship program. Throughout law school, Mr. Jani showed an interest in litigation and has continued to develop those skills. During law school he interned for Honorable Cheryl Gonzales in New York Civil Court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jani worked for Honorable Tanya R. Kennedy of the New York Supreme Court.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Jani enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with family and friends. He is also conversant in Gujarati.
