James Evan Stephens joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as an associate in 2017. Mr. Stephens handles cases involving all aspects of civil litigation from inception to trial, including civil litigation, general negligence, torts and personal injury. Mr. Stephens worked as an associate at Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano, LLP before joining Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP.
Mr. Stephens obtained his Bachelor's Degree at Indiana University- Bloomington in 2010 with a major in Public Affairs and a double minor in Business and Music Theory. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2014. While in law school, he interned for the Honorable Judge Karen Murphy in the Supreme Court of Nassau County. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Stephens serves on the Board of Directors for the Hellenic Lawyers Association and is a member of the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
