Steve K.F. Scott joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as an associate in 2009. He handles a broad range of civil litigation matters with a particular emphasis in the defense of medical and hospital malpractice matters.
Mr. Scott graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. He was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree by Albany Law School, Union University in 1994. He has been admitted to the New York State bar since 1995. He was admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the State of New York for the Eastern and Southern Districts in 1997. He formerly served Kings County as an Assistant District Attorney.
He has served on not-for-profit boards including the Linden Elementary School Board where he served as chairperson for approximately four years and before that as the PTA President. He has assisted the Community Services Ministry of his local church and also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Maranatha Human Services since 2012. He as a passion for serving his community at large.
