Todd M. Hellman joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as an associate in November 2017. He concentrates his practice on premises liability, property damage, automobile liability and labor law matters, and handles all facets of litigation up to trial.
Todd graduated from Binghamton University in 1991 with a degree in political science, and obtained his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School in 1994, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and is also admitted to the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, District of New Jersey and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP, Todd worked for a medium-sized New York City insurance defense firm, where he litigated personal injury, auto liability, labor law and insurance coverage cases, and handled several appeals argued before the Appellate Division. He previously worked for a Long Island-based insurance defense firm, where he defended the interests of insurance companies in complex third-party insurance coverage and indemnification disputes, represented insureds in various professional liability and general liability cases, and handled numerous appeals in New York and New Jersey State Courts.
Todd enjoys theatre and international travel, and is a trivia aficionado who appeared and won on Jeopardy!
