JEREMY W. ASHTON

Jeremy Ashton joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as a law clerk in September 2023. Mr. Ashton received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from St. John’s University where he studied English and Social Justice as an Ozanam Scholar. Mr. Ashton received his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 2021. While at St. John’s, Jeremy partnered with nonprofits and participated in NGO fellowships to address homelessness, hunger, education and healthcare disparities. This continued in law school, serving immigrants fleeing abuse and seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status through St. John’s Child Advocacy Clinic. Mr. Ashton also participated in the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute.

Mr. Ashton is currently awaiting admission to the New York Bar.

Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Ashton enjoys reading comic books, creative writing, and practicing Brazilian ju-jitsu.
