Louis B. Imbroto joined the law firm of Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP in April 2019 as an associate attorney. Mr. Imbroto handles matters in the firm’s general liability practice, focusing on the defense of negligence lawsuits involving automobile accidents, premises liability, and property damage. Mr. Imbroto brings a diverse range of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as advising local government entities.
Mr. Imbroto also serves as a Councilman for the Town of Oyster Bay, where he was elected to represent the 300,000 residents of America’s third largest township. Mr. Imbroto serves as Chairman of the town’s Quality of Life Task Force.
Mr. Imbroto earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Articles and Symposia Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fordham University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Mr. Imbroto is a proud graduate of Chaminade High School.
Mr. Imbroto sits on the board of directors of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County. He is a member of the Dante Foundation of Nassau County, the Order Sons of Italy in America, the Knights of Columbus, the Bethpage-Central Park Kiwanis and the Chaminade Alumni Lawyers Association. Mr. Imbroto was honored by the Long Island Business News as one of Long Island’s 40 Under 40 and the Huntington Chamber of Commerce as one of Long Island’s 30 Under 30. He was the recipient of the Brooklyn Law School IALSA Distinguished Alumni Award.
