Michael brings over 25 years of legal experience to his practice, with a career that spans both sides of the courtroom. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Bartnicki worked as a Locomotive Engineer for the Long Island Rail Road, where he also served as a union representative. His legal advocacy is further informed by his earlier work as an electrician, where he gained hands-on experience in all phases of electrical construction. This unique combination of courtroom experience, labor representation, and skilled trade knowledge allows Mr. Bartnicki to bring practical insight and a results-driven approach to every case. Mr. Bartnicki’s career is marked by a deep understanding of both the legal and real-world challenges his clients face, making him a dedicated and effective advocate. Michael earned his J.D. in 1999 from Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, he completed advanced trial advocacy training through the National Institute of Trial Attorneys and was admitted to the New York State Bar in November 1999. He also holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Stony Brook University.
