Tamir Saland joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as a law clerk in 2019 and became an associate attorney upon his admission to the New York Bar later that year. Mr. Saland primarily handles cases in the firm’s automobile insurance liability practice.
Mr. Saland obtained his Bachelor of Science from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2010, with a major in Business Economics and Public Policy and a minor in Psychology. He received General Honors Notation from the Hutton Honors College. Mr. Saland earned his Juris Doctor Degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2019, where he worked as Research Assistant for Professor DiLorenzo on Real Property law issues. He interned for the Consumer Justice for the Elderly Litigation Clinic while in law school.
Prior to joining Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP, Mr. Saland interned at a Long Island insurance defense firm defending clients in automobile and premises liability cases. He also clerked for the Honorable Judge Leon Ruchelsman in the Commercial Part of Kings County.
Outside of legal practice, Mr. Saland enjoys spending time with family, reading and hiking.
