Hilary joined Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP as a law school intern in 2011. She became a law clerk in 2012, an associate in 2013, and a partner in 2019. She handles various areas of civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice and general liability cases.
Hilary graduated from Massapequa High School and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. John's University in 2008. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2012, where she was a Senior Staff member of the Journal of International & Comparative Law and the New York International Law Review. She also completed an intensive Office of Court Administration Alternative Dispute Resolution program in 2012 and is a Certified Divorce Mediator.
She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013 and to the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York in 2014. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association. Since 2019, she has served as a member of the Board of the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
Hilary has been selected by The New York Times Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star from 2019-2025.
She is married with two little girls and is also a registered yoga teacher.
