A native of Long Island, Mr. Dunphy graduated from Chaminade High School in 1992 before earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Saint Anselm College. After a successful period in the financial sector, he attended and graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 2002. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2003 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Dunphy is actively involved in the legal community, proudly serving as a board member and secretary of the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. He also dedicated many years to community sports, serving as a board member for the Levittown-Seaford-Wantagh Sports organization and coaching his four children in youth baseball. He lives on the South Shore of Long Island, where he enjoys fishing, golf, and supporting the St. John’s basketball team.
